Thorough Cypher is a recurring dance event held every third Friday of the month at ADX—home of Thorough Studio®.

Our mission is simple:

Unite community through dance.
 

Unite the dance community through Portland’s first-ever event fully dedicated to the Cypher. For those that don't know, the Cypher is where breaking was born—a sacred circle of trust where dancers move freely, no rules, no judgment. Just responding the music.

This isn’t just for breakers. All styles are welcome. All energy is welcome. And if you’re not dancing? Pull up anyway. The more eyes, the more vibes—spectators are part of the culture too. 

This event will be recurring every third Friday of the month. Drank will be served.
